Team Connectivity
Team connectivity are a diverse set of professionals selected by Advance Queensland to form the Team Connectivity. If the project proceeds with a next phase of the project the Connectivity Team will convert to an Industry Advisory Group for the project.
Community Connectivity Champions
Community Connectivity Champions are the heart of the Connectivity Compass initiative. These dedicated local leaders drive the mission to enhance digital connectivity and literacy within their communities.
This project is still in concept phase so it is expected that the role of the Community Connectivity Champion will evolve through iterations of pilot sites. However it is expected that the role of the Community Connectivity Champion to be a conduit with the following goals.
- Identify Connectivity Challenges: Champions engage with community members to understand their unique digital connectivity issues.
Facilitate Access to Resources: They connect communities with essential programs and resources that address their specific needs. - Promote Digital Literacy: Champions lead efforts to improve digital skills, ensuring everyone can participate fully in the digital world.
- Foster Community Engagement: By organising events and workshops, they bring people together to share knowledge and collaborate on solutions.
- Benchmark Connectivity Levels: Using the Connectivity Compass tools, they assess and benchmark current connectivity levels to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Work with Stakeholders: Work with local and regional stakeholders to identify opportunities and programs that can meet the communities requirements and provide a crucial link between the community and central coordination, ensuring resources are effectively distributed and utilised.
In the next phase of the project, we will be calling for expressions of interest for new Community Connectivity Champions.
